"splitting the case"
I took my tranny off w/the clutch housing. Can someone tell me (because I have no helms right now) what needs to be done to pull the case off the clutch housing?
It doesn't want to come off, and I don't want to **** something up..

i believe theres 16 bolts that hold the case together.. if i'm not mistaken. someone correct me.
1. remoe the back-up light switch
2. remove the transmission hanger
3. remove the set screws, springs, and the steel *****.
4. remove the reverse idle gera shaft bolt
5. loosen the 16 bolts that olds the housings together in a crisscross pattern.
6. remove the 32 mm sealing bolt
7. expand the snap ring on the countershaft ball bearing and remove it from the groove using a pair of snap ring pliers
thats all from the helms infront of me
