Can someone tell me what is wrong with my car!
Since it has been cold out, I have alot of smoke coming from the exhaust all the time, I know some comes out when its not warmed up but I can be driving for an hour and it is still smoking, I do burn OIL but I think it is alot. Also, when I have my heater on, I smell OIL in the car, I have to turn it off, cause I cant stand the smell! Must be time for a checkup.

Not to make you sound stupid but when its real cold out your exhaust appears to be smoking but its only your hot air going to the cold air. maybe its still smoking the same but since tis cold it makes it look worse. That is of course if it is white smoke

I do burn alot of OIL, I had my valve seals replaced and even after that, I burned 2 quarts in 250 miles.

Thats a hell of a problem you have there. At first I would have said not to worry about it too much, just condensation, but thats certainly not right. How long ago were the seals done?Blue smoke does equal oil though, check and post back

ck your Radiator fluid. are you using striaght water, mixed or Anitfreeze?
Ck your motor oil. does it look odd like a milk shake?
Stick a clean white rag in your muffler and see what color the rag is. Does the rag have a lot of oily stuff on it?
Second report back here with the results and pics if possible for use to help you.

Ok I just checked the smoke, it is pretty much white, but I do know that I burn alot of OIL.
So what explains the smell from the heater?

If that's not it, then there is a possible leak. Park your car over a clean pavement and see if it drips oil...check your cat connections, o2 connections, any leak underneath the piping..etc.
and like mentioned above, put a rag over your exhaust and have someone rev the car to see if oil comes out.

blue smoke = burning oil
milky whitish smoke = blown head gasket, coolant(especially if it smells sweet)
normal white smoke = normal, especially if its colder than 40 degrees

In my experience, the Mobil 1 doesn't make the usual "blue oil burning smoke" that non-synthetics do, so even if it's not giving a blue appearance, it may still be burning oil. Two quarts in 250 miles? If everything appears normal, i.e. not leaking, it sounds like the rings to me.........
