I finally got an AC floor jack.
I just got it. I used to use factory type jacks to raise my car. With this I am so comfortable working around cars. I tried a Sears Professional floor jack and I did not like it at all so I returned on the day I bought. AC jacks are bit pricey but in long term, it will save time and PITA trying to raise cars. they are excellent made products. Recommend to everyone who wrenches their cars.
are these those low profile jacks? how much? where can i get it?

The jack is 3.15" at its lowest point and has a max height of 19.7".
Here is a pic to show you how low we're talking about:
They retail for approx. $235.00 give or take a few bucks.
I got mine locally from an automotive equipment supplier.
Cheers.

The AC Jack is an AWESOME garage jack...
but for an on-the-road / travel type jack, none is better (IMO) then Harborfrieght's 37lb alum. jack. Well, unless your car weighs over 3,000lbs..
3.5" min saddle height, 17.5" max saddle height.

i got a 3.5ton craftsman professional jack from sears w/ 2 jackstands for 88 bux... for that price i don't really mind all the noise it makes when being dragged across the floor but other than that it works fine for me
I just picked up a craftsman 3ton jack. Needed to replace my existing one (no name) that would no longer extend all the way. The nice thing is max height on the craftsman is 21", should be enough for the other vehicles also.

How much do these jacks weigh? I want to know because shipping is expensive over seas to honolulu.
Your looking at 65 to 99 pounds depending on which one you get. Maybe about $100 to $200 to ship.
