my friend has an idle problem on his car the idle surges the car is a 92 prelude

 

vaccuum leak time. Did he do anything to the car recently?

 

hey i have a 92 prelude too and an idleing problem. i tried a lot of different things and finally took it somewhere. they told me i need to replace my idle control assembly. i haven't since b/c it cost too much. plus i'm not sure if they really checked out the other possibilities

btw- how do you check for vaccum leaks?

He just bought the car and it is all stock, when he drove it home it started to mess up now it idles like crazy , i think it might be an IAC or a MAP sensor i don't here a vacume leak but i will sray some intake cleaner around and see if it makes a diffrence ,, thanks for the help
