Default I don't understand theives...

I went to go take an exam today and when I got out to my car, the door was open, no glass broken. I don't keep my stereo in my car, because it would just get stolen, so they broke my turbo timer, took my cargo cover, and my dome light cover(?!?!?!?!) I don't understand, but I'm scared that this car well get stolen again because of the whole no glass on the ground thing. I think it's probably the same people who stole my Si. Except, they've never seen my new(but old) car and I haven't told them what I have in it ( I haven't but someone else may have). I just got rid of credit card debt, but I think I'm gonna have revisit them to get a lojack. God this sucks, I couldn't even focus during my exam, I kept worrying about my car getting stolen. I'm thinking about just getting a Ford Escort. I don't know if this worth it.

Thieves generally are pretty dumb

What happen with my car was the following...I had over 6K in damage and they didn't steal anything except my headlights. My windows was broken and I had a hole in my door from the attempted entry into the vehicle...the thing that baffles me is that no one ever went inside my car so they had no intention of stealing it. I have a huge steering wheel lock as well so I know they saw that. No clue why they even tried opening my door or breaking my window cuz they sure as hell didn't pop my hood to take my lights (hood + fenders are f&*ed!)

And another thing, my car is a 92 civic hatch. The fenders all dented up, the doors are dented up, the paint on the rear bumper is a different shade of red than the rest of the car, the hood is fading, not to mention the thousand scratches all over the car the broken sideview mirror, why would anyone even look at my car twice?
That's why I think it's the people that stole my si, because they probably found out what I have under the hood.
