Default FS: b16 Golden Eagle Block $$500

selling a ge sleeved b16 block, sleeves are bored to 83mm as of right now...

the only thing wrong with the block is it needs needs to be helicoiled...i would do it myself, but there are no places locally and i cant afford to pay $200 shipping, plus the work right now....so someone that can get it done locally, would be better off than I...

this is a great price...

all need to be redone...cant take 400 shipped, shipping is going to be expensive on a block...maybe 450 plus shipping or lilke 500 shipped...thats about the lowest i can do for now

oh and yes this is the block from egcivicturbo...and i just want you all to know what an *** he's being about the situation

egcivicturbo (12:26 PM 12/7/2002): listen i guess you dont understand you knew what you were getting into why should the machine shop pay for the work you have to do , the work they did is non transferable belive it or not but im sorry that you think you got "shafted"
but i dont see how you think that you got 2000.00 worth of parts for 900.00. the machine shop is doing the warrentee work for me because the block was mine when they made the mistake and instead of throwing the block you have away i thought someone might want to try and fix it , and you wanted to try and fix it now your trying to get anyone but you to try and fix it well its your block and you knew what you were getting into sorry its gotten over your head but dont try and get out of it by screwing someone else
SpoolinLS (1:47 PM 12/7/2002): oh so i would be screwing someone else, but you werent screwing me i suppose?
egcivicturbo (1:49 PM 12/7/2002): how the **** did i screw you ??? are you ******* retarded you KNEW WHAT YOU WERE GETTING INTO how the **** do you think you were getting screwed?
SpoolinLS (1:51 PM 12/7/2002): and the point is still not that i knew what i was getting into...because i really didnt...you said there was one thing wrong with the block not a bunch...and for some reason you think that you are not in the wrong about it...

i guess i just dont understand why the shop that screwed it up is paying for his next block instead of the one that he sold me...and im also curious how i would be screwing someone else when i am actually telling them what is wrong with the block...as apposed to what he did!!
but i suppose he didnt screw me even though he is getting more work done for free, and footing me with the bill...oh and the little fact of not telling me what was wrong with it doesnt make me happy either!!

the truth is, i knew it need to have the crack fixed, no big deal right? so i have that done and then i find out all the other helicoils are messed up...so i decided to cut my losses and sell it for cheaper and let someone else who knows what they are doing deal with the block...because i certainly dont have the means to do it

you know what wierd is that its ok for you to sell it and tell who ever buys it everything you know about it but what happens if there is something more wrong with it that neither you or i knew ???
you can call me a scammer for selling it to you even though there was more wrong with it then i knew , but its ok for you to sell it and not be called a scammer
dont get me wrong this is a killer deal and spoolin is a great guy but i think thats a little hipocratical<--- i dont know how to spelln i sold it to him for 900.00 and i included new crower rods , arp main studs brand new factory main studs and a brand new ballanced and micropolished crank so in essence you got the block for free and now your trying to sell it because you cant fix it so really you are in the same boat i was
crower rods 550.00 used
arp main studs 100.00
honda main bolts 50.00 min.
ballanced and micropolished crank 250.00 min.
total 950.00
golden eagle block that was damaged FREE in a way

the point is not the money that it cost or what was "FREE"...i mean seriously what good does it do for me to argue at this point though...

hes not gonna help me out in my situation, and he sold me something that had more problems that he knew (or led on) so like i said, im selling it so someone who has better access to those tools and whatnot and can fix it...

and the difference between you and i, i guess would be that i would help the person that buys it...

does that mean there is something else wrong with it i should know about? and i believe i did ask for a refund a while back...

i told you everything i knew about it but there was obviously more wrong then what i knew so what if there is more wrong with it then both of us know , thats all i was trying to say
im done arguing with you about this you baught something that was damaged whether or not there was more wrong with it if you baught something damaged from a shop for instance for a cheaper price because it was damaged you cant take it back and try to get a refund because there is more wrong with it

good luck on the sale sorry the deal turn sour and you feel the way you do but i dont see how you can think you were ripped off

hey dude just so ya know. if you can box that thing up really well so it doesn't get banged around too much (large tupperware box w/lots of carbored packing) ups will ship it for ~$50. make sure it's well packed cause they will smote it up some
ie pick it up thinking it's realy light weight and drop it (on their foot)

ok it looks like egcivic is right about you. You are now trying to sell the block that a machine shop told you it would not be worth to fix. And plus you are not even stating what really needs to be done, u just state that the "main has to helicoiled". And then you say that u dont have access to a machine shop that could do this.....but here is from the other post.
ok, so i took the block to have the saddle and one main tap fixed since it had a crack in it....
i have it all welded up nice, and take it to the machine shop where they will machine it and re-tap it...but i get a call today from them saying it is pointless for them to work on the main hole, because all the other holes have been helicoiled wrong and the bolts just wobble around in them...to fix them, they say the holes would all have to be rewelded and tapped, which he says is more work that its even worth...

Seems to me like you are the scammer. YOU now now this block is pretty much worthless, and you say that "i would have it done, but dont have anyone who could do it"...instead of stating the truth. just my take on it.

easy with the scammer stuff man, you dont even know me...the only local shop to me does tapping, but wont do helicoiling...

and i dont really appreciate you trying to call me a scammer when you arent even familiar with the situation...
