00 ITR dyno #'s
Well my friend and I went to the dyno for some baselines and tuning. I hit 165.5 @7900 and 124.0@5900 which had me disapointed.
After reviewing my elevation factor 2700ft+ the numbers look a little more in the ball park.
178.90 and 134.04 aem short ram, dc pos 4-2-1, tiny 2.25 tanabe cat back + me tuning VAFC.
Do my numbers look about right? I am using an Si ecu (P73 coming) and used the A/F readout to tune....stays below 14:1 the majority of the time and goes rich around 7500+ (still high 12's).
Will try to scan dyno and A/F monday.
Any thoughts? Also 00 is the year the intake cam was upgraded tp CTR spec right? I have a semi flat line from 7500-8000 which I had heard was a trait of the older 97-98 cam. Anyone else experience this?

One of two chassis dyno's in my current state of Idaho...tough for me to compare other numbers.
However I will be home in the spring for a clutch/flywheel upgrade so I may stop at Import Builders and get a before and after P73/fly/clutch swap.
If it helps justify the #'s I run a 14.09@ 97.7 @2700 ft with a 2.08 60' (drag radials) only reving to 8000 rpm.....13.63@101 corrected for elevation.
2550 with me in it. Do the #'s run with the ET's?

I am in the front row, far right.......2002 "Import" Track Champion. (rookie season
)
Motor has surprised me....but I know there i still a few hp left in it with just a little more tuning, a bigger header, 3" exhaust ( I run open at the track) and the P73....13.70's here (2700 ft) is what I am expecting maybe better if I can hook a 1.9 or so on my bfg DR's.

those are NICE times. only person that i know who can run close to those times with a relatively stock car is Activeaero.
2.05 60' on full street tires ownz drag radials yo! Just kidding. Nice times.

But I do it without drag radials.

Thanks....good job with streets...I end up lighting those things up to 2.3-2.4 I can only imagine running on them at sealevel...spin city for me
So do the numbers look TOO high or just a little high?
EDIT: Wanted too add this ?..... Could I squeeze a little more hp with some cam gears? I feel the intake could use a little more advance...the motor seems to run out of breath around 7700 then starts dipping at 8000. I want to try to squeeze as much hp as possible this year and JUN cam gears are cheaper than a stage 3 cam setup...also I noticed I am running out of fuel adjustment for my motor in VTEC....should I replace the DX pump now? Or wait for 185+ numbers to change it out? FPR?

lol. you're a great driver regardless...(dunno about through the twisties though)
Posted 3rd fastest time of the day twice once in another region. Placed 2nd in STX in the pouring rain against 5 WRX's.
Do I still suck...yes. As bad as some...no. Do I like bragging and being concieted.....of course its the internet yo!
Those numbers sound right to me considering your times.

I have a 99 civic ex with a 00 b18c ITR engine with the following mods: p73 ecu, aem cai, jdm 4-1 header, high flow cat, greddy sp exhaust, and 255 lph fuel pump. I just had it dynoed 1 month ago on a superflow chassis dyno at sea level and put out 180.4 whp at 8036rpm and 126.7 at 6260 rpm. We pretty much put out the same numbers!!
The torque seems rather high. I recently had 175/125.4 with J's intake, JDM DC 4-1, test pipe and Fujitsubo RM-01A. untuned. I'm not so sure about that correction equation, few of us are at sea level anyways. I'm not saying those numbers are WRONG, but given your mods, that torque seems pretty high. HP looks good, though. Wierd... Anyways, nice numbers.
I was there at the dyno with Sergio and I can verify those numbers.. He dynoed those numbers without the elevation corrected..He has a strong setup..
Ps. He had his exhaust unbolted at the header I think thats why his torque was so strong. He had the hump in the midrange that was really nice. Car is real fast with the mods he has. 14.0 on street tires, i Know he's whooped me once or twice on the track..
