Perhaps not the auctal quality but the styling of the dash, seats and center console. I would take the interior from an Si EF8 over that of an EG or EK Si any day of the week. But that is just me...

 

I second that. I actually love the U.S. roll up style windows. All power windows that came in honda eventually go to ****. Also, they way the center console is tilted is perfect. I only wish they still made the floormats though!

 

I love my CRX interior. I kept with the Grey and black scheme and painted the air vent borders, gauge trim, interior door handle plastic, and the center dash console plastic face things gunmetal metallic... Looks bitchin

 

Yea, not to mention how nimble CRX's are, they handle pretty nice even for stock

 

I have owned 4 so far and I have been nothing but pleased I love the way the car looks handles everything! And yeah the interior is sweet kind of like a **** pit.

Yes, and there's an amazing amount of leg room for the driver and passenger.

 

Seems like the newer generation Civics are so bland compared to the 4th gen Si's...I loved my CRX interior, beside the hole in the seat on the driver's side...

was just discussing this last night with a few buddies over a twelve pack...EGs have super cheap interiors...the interior door handles are hella week....my gf has a del sol and nothing good to say about it except for the seats...my DC and EF(when it did have interior) are much nicer...except for the horrible design of the EF door mounted seat belts

 

HELL YAH! Thas what i did. So, i dont care if my interior is blue...its still the cleanest crx dash in a civic around these parts. hahahaha...spray mah dash with armor all every damn night....

As far as the 4th gen SI seats go, i think they are the best usdm seats for hondas also...asides to s2000 seats.

 

I like the design, but I can't say the materials are exactly high quality. Better than some, worse than others. The thing that pisses me off is the rattles. They keep popping up since I installed the new suspension. Can't wait till my car doesn't have an interior.

The only thing I would change in my crx si interior would be, Push back the e-break a few inches and add a cup holder. And secure the carpet down better. Mine has come loose in a few spots. But other than that I LOVE the crx si interior

 

Si seats do rock the house! My dad and I (he's the previous owner of my hatch) talk about this all the time. I just swapped out my stock seats from my R for a pair of Recaro SRDs, but the bolstering of the Si and R seats are very similar. The Si seats have tighter rib bolstering and the R seats have slightly higher thigh bolsters. All in all, great seats.

Now about the dash.... CRX dash does look cleaner but with the optional console between the radio and shifter, the Civic interior is very clean.

 

Sure the CRX interior is nice and all but come on, some of you guys are talking as if it's the best interior ever made. It's simple and very convenient and looks decent but it doesn't make anyones jaws drop. To me a great interior is like top of the line Lexus with all the works or a BMW or any other luxury car.

For the money, it's nice and all but let's not make it sound like it's the best freaken thing going.

 

Compare an 88 Si interior in good shape to almost any other 88 car...I am just saying for the year and price the interior can't be beat.
