Ok i have asked this befor and i got no response.

What i need to know is what cam gears fit on the zc? I need to know pretty soon cause the engine is going in soon. Thanks for the help.

 

b-series cam gears fit, some with modification some without..

B16A cam gears will work

 

As stated, b16a cam gears do work, just need to be modified a little, some do, some dont.

 

i'm using Bseries AEM cam gears one mine.

 

ok on the nopi web site it says they are $150. Is that for both of them, or just one?

HKS makes zc cam gears but they are hard to come by, had some on my old car til it was stolen

 

no no mods were done to these gears. the belt sits right on the inside (motor side) edge of the cam gear. no problems with them "walking" off the gear. i've had them on for about a year now with no problems.

 

not many people know, but JUN makes specific zc cam gears. i think they are the same as the b16, but not sure. most b16 gears will work.

 

I also have a set of these. They were a bitch to get. I had to steal his car... not really, acutally sorry to hear about, but seriously, I had to have my shipped over from HKS japan, and they took about 3 months to get here. They have no timing marks either. They're a stock gear with a different center put in. I got mine years and years ago, so they may be easier to get now. To be honest, they did very little for my car. I spent about an hour on the dyno and gained nothing worth writing home over.

Or use B16 cam gears. As was said above they will ride right on the edge of the gear. My timing belt has been fine as well with the B16's from aem. As for the offset it's about 10 mm. So that can be adjusted by shortening the center 5mm so it sits in the middle. I read someone just flipped some JG's and it lined right up.
