I have a 1991 accord 5spd with little to no modifications(intake, muffler, wheels).
it has 140000 miles on it and is still on the original clutch. Here is my delima, usually when I am making a turn onto a traffic-infested road I accelerate almost to the maximum capabilities of the car. occasionaly when I am doing this, something slips(i am almost certain it is not the tires) it only gets noticeable as it approaches the powerband. I know that my cv joints are starting to go because they pop when I corner. This slippage almost never happens on straight line acceleration. Ive even tried(please do not slap me too hard) driving straight and giving it gas while hitting the brakes(i would think that if the clutch was going out that that would cause it to slip) and still no slippage. Please help

Sounds to me it's most likely the CV joints. If they're going out anyway, replace those first and see if it fixes the problem. I still don't get exaclty what you mean by 'slip' though...
clutch, your CV's will not slip, they will pop, vibrate, or just bust

I have one final question. If I were planning to swap in an H22 would I be able to use the same clutch? if so, would it be better to go with 43% holding capacity over stock or 90%? also would my car be able to function properly with such an increase in holding power? if it helps, i think my car came stock with 125 hp(slow).
clutches, flywheels, engines and transmissions are interchangable. So yes you can use the same clutch on the H22. The only problem with a stiffer clutch is in very low speed stop and go traffic.
