Check engine light came on on my way to work this morning in the @$#$ snow that MD didn't bother to plough. I haven't had the chance to check for any codes, but does anyone know what is a common reason in this type of weather
car is an 88 crx si with a zc, stock ecu
I'm going to check if it comes on again, after I leave work.

If the O2 sensor is lazy to begin with and doesn't heat up enough, it could trigger a code 1. Other than that, it could be the temperature or moisture affecting a poor electrical connection on a sensor. But then again, it could be something else. In other words, check the code and post back.
No reason the cold should affect CEL. Check your code, reset your ECU, then see if throws again then consider options based on what the code is. Done any thing to the engine, unplugged any thing, add anything?? Could be something stupid that was a fluke or may be something that needs to be fixed The O2 sensor is a good point though.
