Default bulldog security remote starter

Anybody ever installed one of these in their cars??

I just want to see if there is anything I should be cautious of, I am going to install it this week hopefully.

Oh also, if I already have a aftermarket alarm, what should i do ??

Thanks

you got this from Sams or Costco for like $30 rite? these are peices of crap, i would never install this on any car simply because of safety hazards. they are total junk and even though they have a lifetime warranty, i would even consider buying one. my friend bought one and it was garbage, didnt even work

Those remote starters are junk! I have been installing for around 14 years and have never had as many problems with any other brand. If you value your car at all, do not try to put that on your car! Put it on that shelf in the closet with all your other old car audio junk and get something from dei.

Really sorry about that. Not trying to scare you but looking out for you. I had a cavalier that came in to my shop that the owner of the car tried installing the alarm. it caught fire. From what I could tell if he had wired it correctly. Also very flaky about how they work.
