which is intake cam and which is exhaust cam ??? Help!!!!!!!!!!!!!
whats up guys. I unfortunately was ripped off when I bought a pair of used Integra type R cams. One of the cams is severely scratched up and my mechanic said that it was not usable. HOw do I tell which cam is the intake cam?? I can't tell if it is the intake cam or the exhaust cam that is in bad shape? If the intake one is in good shape I can still use it with a GSR exhaust cam right??? Will that give me more power, or do I need both ITR cams to feel an improvement in power? If it is the intake one that is damaged, I can buy the intake cam new for 220. So do I need both ITR cams to feel an improvement in power, or will a GSR exhaust cam and TYpe R intake cam be just as good????Dont forget to lemme know how to tell the difference between the exhaust cam and intake cam too. Any help is GREATLY appreciated. Thanks alot guys

If they're in the car, the intake cam is closest to the firewall and exhuast towards front bumper. If they're not in the car, you'll have to find the specs of each cam and try measuring them. I'm not too sure if there is any easier way...good luck
one of them will have a slot like (||) on the side of the cam...this is for the distributor, it's your intake cam.

I was searching for some pics that show this since I couldn't word it too well but couldn't find any pics anyways..
-Dave, who was going to describe as a "key"/slot for the distributor..
