Well I have been using penzoil and I just read that penzoil sucks, it sucks because it has alot of parafin wax in it. And I also heard you not suppose to use synthetic oil on new engines because the valves take longer to seat. So my question is, the next time I change my oil I will have about 4,000 or so miles on my new engine, is it ok to start using synthetic oil yet ? And what brand is the best ? Also do you guys think I could of messed anything up by using penzoil, by saying messed up, I mean cloged anything or somthing. Last question, what is the best way to get all the oil out of your car when you change your oil.

Trust me if you read the entire 25 pages all your questions will be answered. No modern oil will clog your engine.

i never knew penzoil makes syntec. well, i would go with mobil1 syntec, nothing but quality.

the higher you jack up the car from the front, the more oil you can get out, but be careful, it looks dangerous.

All major oil companies make a synthetic oil of some sort. Some are more true synthetics than others. No need to jack your car up higher, just wait it out the oil will eventually drain out at the normal jack height.

to me all those synthetic oils are all basically the same...i've used lots of different kinds...but i stick to mobil1 super syn 10w30....can't go wrong...to me all those more expensive oils are not any better, they just make you think that...but if you happy forkin over the dollars for that stuff then hey, it's your money!

 

we get Redline here in Portland for $7 a qt. No taxes. Goota love Oregon. No taxes.....lotsa *******....and beer.
