do preludes have...
"Max/Mass Airflow Sensors"?
forgt which one it is exactly, but i need to know if it has that or not

no. Instead of using a MAF (mass air flow) they use a MAP (manifold absolute pressure). MAP's suck for boosting, so you have to change small things to get them to work for those applications, where as MAF's are better for this... oh the otherhand, map's are smaller and in my personal opinion more reliable and better
yes! which is exactly why i was asking. I am going to make this experiemental intake and if i works i will start sellin em. For preludes only as of now =D
some cars like RX-7's the MAF isn't as big of a head ache (older ones atleast) as say.. a talon with a MAF. the RX-7's is inline with the intake, whereas the talon's is mounted to a side of the filter canister, so if you remove the filter housing, the MAF goes too!
Actually MAF's are pretty reliable. You can do just about anything you want to the motor and it will still read right. Speed density systems (such as the lude's) dont respond well to any kind of changes without recalibration. I wish i could run a maf with my turbo. I have to use a VAM (vane air meter). Its not the greatest but it works.
