Anyone have a camber kit on a 95 accord?
My friend bought one and he likes to ride fully dumped on 18's. The car has nice (lol) negative camber. Anyway he put the kit on and it lifted his car really high up. Are they made to do this or did he do something wrong? Someone told him that he needs to grind something on it. Is that true? Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
the upper control arm is hitting the inner fender. tell him to raise his car back up or it will destroy the suspension if he drives on it like that. without the kit there is more room for the control arm - that's why it didn't hit before.
it really did that. he pulled it off as soon as he saw it. he put the coilover all the way down and it was like 1 &1/2 inches above the tire on 18's.

no need for that,i know two honda owners with camber kits that made small clean cuts where the controll arm was hitting. dont look to bad.
this is the front, right? tell him to jack the car up, take the wheel off, get another jack, and very carefully and slowly jack the hub up to see where the control arm is hitting. there is a reinforced rib that runs front to back that you have to bend out. get a hammer and hit it until it bends towards the outside of the car and the control arm clears it. then the control arm will hit a section of the uni-body that's hard as hell, and you can't bend it enough with a hammer. you'll have to shave some material off the end of the a-arm (not too much). if it still hits, you'll just have to adjust it back until it doesn't. even if you can't correct the camber completely, some is definitely better than none. this is the way mine is setup, and my tires last much longer as a result.
Hey bro. You sound like you know what your doing. I am in the market to buy a camber kit. Everyone says its best to get it for my car. I am wondering what things I should be aware of when I get one.
Are they any restrictions between companies?
How much labor is expected?
Do I really have to do some cutting work?
As you can see I really don't have much knowledge of cambers.
Any help would greatly be appreciated.

for the guys that dont know a lot about camber, get it if u plan to drop ur car, it helps prevent tires from wearing out to quickly. an GET AN ALIGNMENT after u drop it...my "toes" & "caster" were off..and it wore out my stock tires in a couple of weeks.
Hey bro,
Alot of people are saying that they have to bang in the fender/wheel well to fit the cambers or to let the control arm fit while have the ride lowered?
I am looking for something minimal in lowering, I really can't afford to slam the ride to the ground...come on now I'm in New England...the worst place for a hooked up ride.
Would you say that its a gaurentee that I will have to do this work if I get a camber kit??

Hey bro, I think you misunderstood me. I can understnad from my wording.
I already have springs (look at my btm header) I've got adjustable Weapon R dual coil overs.
I need to get a camber kit. This is where my issue lies. Whenever I raise/lower my car I need to set the alignment/camber. So I am collective information about cambers so I can make a good selection.
So far at this point I am considering Ingalls rubber cambers
I need to find pricing and installation instructions...I wonder how that will go
Anyways I appreciate all the help from the replies guys THANKS

. Why do you want to get rid of the negitive camber? I have -2.6 in the front and wish I had more. That alond with 1/32 total toe out in the front and mire tires (kuhmo ecsta supra) still wear fine. And for autocross I am still wearing the outer edges of the tire.

i had the same problem, just go get an airsaw and knotch the inner fender well about (1/2) deep and (2.5) wide. This should give u enought clearances to lower the car however u want it.
