i just put a 94 del sol sohc vtec motor in my 91 si hatch.i used the si trans and had a conversion harness made to connect to a p28 ecu.evrything works great.
I am putting in a 92 D16Z6 w/ a 91 si tranny, into a 90 std civic hatch. I am going to run a Hondata w/ a P28 and a conversion harness to convert my car to OBD1.
got an 88 CRX DX...D16Y8 swap...i used my 88 Si tranny...only thing that i had to change over w. the tranny's was the flywheel...all d-series trannys will bolt to a d-series motor...ECU is a 89 Integra...Vtec is switched on w. MSD RPM Switch at 4800...car pulls hard during VTEC...it needs adjustments though
ok i lied...i had a problem with the speed sensor it self...at the vss. the speed isnt going in to the trans...what years are ur trans' and which sensor r yall using?
92 D16Z6 in my 89 CRX Si using a PR3 JDM B16A ecu(knock sensor removed), 89 Si tranny with 92 Si flywheel and clutch kit,and a field's vtec controller. runs GRRReat!!
I got a d16z6 long block in my 91 hatch...
Just bolt ons with a zdyne one wire vtec conversion. WAY better than the MSD activated vtec method, fuelmaps set and no problems during daily driving. I guess just read the sig for more info....
