Default Will solid rear axle (like MMR) tuck my "skinnies"??

The Bogart rears "skinnies" that I have stick out, ALOT. They stick out to the point of rubbing on launches.

Besides the obvious weight advantage of a rear solid axle (like MMR), will the axle also bring the rims closer to the wheel well

here is a pic of them on my car:

the backspacing will also determine the positioning of the rim.

It will bring the wheels in and the other advantage is a big weight savings from what they say.

It will drop even more weight and has more adjustability, better parts and runs a spindle mount style wheel. Also comes with a staging brake.

also comes with KY for the 4500 you pay withgout wheels

yea the mmr will bring it in and usues stock mounting points. like a 80 lb savings i think...somewhere round there.

they also sell staging brakes. they arent that expensive.

I thought that according to the rules...you cannot use a solid axle rear end!
correct me if I am wrong!

Where is a good place to get the Bogarts/skinnies?

yeah that is correct you cannot in a street car class all motor you can. other classes you can but you have to keep the rear sub frame like in hot rod and idrc. but there is no point if u have to keep the sub frame.

the solid rear included wilwood light duty disc brakes and calipers, pads, and it just bolts rite in to your factory location, subframe needs to be removed. only thing it didnt come with is the brake lines. i just sent it to get powdercoated, but as soon as i get it back, ill try to post installed pics.

im most curious to see what the stock brake components weigh

I was asking more from a curiousity standpoint.

I'm building a drag-only car this winter and will be using those skinnies, and it was something that stuck in my mind

here is a shitty pic with the rear jacked with Skunk2 900lb springs:
