Default rev hard turbo?

I am looking at some turbo kits, and I was wondering what is the best one for my 97 prelude? I found a good sale for rev hard and drag, but I dont know if they are worse that fmax? What kit is the best on a stock internal motor for running about 8psi or so. GIVE ME ALL SUGGESTIONS.

F-max is a good kit. I would say pick up a Drag Gen 3 or 4. Goodluck running 8 psi on a stock H22a4. You better tune that bad boy.

running 9 psi off an f-max setup, stock internals. no probs even with Unortho pullies after 15,000+ miles

what about the rev hard kit? is it just as good as the fmax, because I would rather buy the rev hard on sale for 2800, online, instead of 3700 for an fmax. is there a big difference besides no intake?

Sweet, do you have the lower compression headgasket? any detonation at all?

I believe the turbo that comes with the revhard kit is smaller than the one that comes with f-max. I like the f-max kit because everything fits perfectly and looks clean after the installation. It also comes with different options such as a lower compression headgasket, or MSD BTM. I would go ahead and save the 3700 but get the revhard kit and use the additional 900 or so to put towards some good fuel managment.

We haven't had any problems yet. The car is street driven, and runs on stock internals. We do have a 9:1 head gasket installed, and no detonation (dyno tuned of course.. which is always A MUST!). We've since added the NX intercooler fogger kit, which dropped us from about 13.8s to so far the high high 12's (with only one run). Hopefully with another run or two we'll get it to drop a little more.
