Good price for an intercooler?
I found an front-mount intercooler for $169 plus $12 shipping. here it is: http://www.speedstash.com/intercooler.html I might add a turbo later on, but not quite sure yet, so is there a point in adding one now, Also, how much hp gain do you think I would get from it?
Correction: It's a front-mount intake intercooler.

hmm i understand the concept but many ppl on here dont like them, they tend to think its a "ricey'' way to look like and IC
but i think they might serve their purpose, but you have to think of water and stuff

it's a frount mount intake, that is not, and never will be, an intercooler, turbo cars and NA (Normal Aspirated) are two different setups, NA cars need to get the colder air they can, that's why people use CAI (Cold Air Intakes). Turbo cars don't, and that's why they use the IC (intercooler).
As for the front mount intake, run away from it, i don't know much about it, but hydrolock is a main concern (when the engines sucks water, REALLY BAD)
If you have anymore questions post them, but do a lil research before. Not trying to be an ***, just making sure you won't get flammed too much

euuu...
thats a front-mount intake. they are two different concepts.
thats a filter, air gets sucked in through it.
an intercooler is used to cool air on turbo and some supercharged cars. the air enters one end of it, and flows through thin runners that are spread apart. when air rushes past the runners, it cools the temp, creating colder air which in turn ends up in the engine.

even if they do serve their purpose, the pressure loss on those things is horrid.
