Going ALL Motor again, opinions please...
Well our second motor is cooked, we are gonna have IB (Import Builders)
build us a new motor, well longblock. I was thinking of going to the darkside but I REALLY want All motor even though boostin usually leads to higher HP numbers depending on mods. This engine is going into a ITR.
Anywas this is the setup I was thinking of, let me know what you think.
Haven't made my mind up on the block yet, but definetly the head
-B16A Head 3 angle P&P
-Toda Spec B Cams
-Toda Cam Gears
-Toda Valve Springs with Portflow Titanium Retainers
-Spoon Sports 4-2-1 Header or Toda 4-2-1
-Spoon Sports N1 Exhaust
-ITR Throttle Body & Intake Manifold
For the Block I don't know which one to go with, I was thinking of the 1.8L GSR package through IB with a 12.?:1 compression....
Let me know your opinions or setups that you a re running, we want to make at least 205+ WHP with this motor..
Also add in a Hondata system or Apexi V-AFC, J's Racing Intake.

AEM intake...if you are dragging the car which sounds like you are, or itb's

..12.5C/R would be nice maybe a little higher if you throw in a mugen head gasket...apexi v-afc if you want to monitor a couple of things, you might want to get bigger injectors, maybe 310cc..i would..and a very good tuner, you'll be set
WEll the car isn't being built for the 1/4 actually the road course, brakes and suspension are being done as well.
I would do ITB's but I want the car to still be very streetable...

my friend has 202 whp with jun kit....valve etc...and ecu...aem, rc injectors, but the head was milled i think but still got over 200 whp out of it
PS...you can street it with itbs......just no hurricanes and **** like that

I think you should consider about JUN 3 setup. I have seen better results with higher CR or 2.0L (resleeved 84mm) engines.

It really all depends on your budget.....when you have a realistic budget you can narrow it down.....if your on the fence about ALL MOTOR and turbo then maybe you should reconsider what exactly your trying to do...
