Default not changing gears

i have a 94 AT accord. i havn't drove it since Sunday and i drove it today to go to the post office and a job interview. i gave it a little time to warm up cause its been REALLLY cold up here in ny lately. and then i drove it..it was fine at first, and then i noticed it didn't go into 2nd. it would REV senselessly in first. and i had no choice cause i was on the ramp to the expressway...and i got on the expressway. it stayed in 1st a little longer, and then changed to 2nd and 3rd. so i got off and i was going to head back home, and then the same thing. but this time, it wouldn't change at all. i'm lik 99% sure its the transmission. guess its time to go back to the bank and get some money

Check the tranny fluid, and I would change the tranny fluid, it's really easy, easier than changing oil.

honda ATF and check your bolt underneath the tranny bolt. see if any shavings or metal is on that. i hope you have a garage. i bet it cold everywhere. hell its 50 here in fl and i am cold

and dont rebuilt it.. get a h23, h22 or another tranny from someone. dont waste 1500 dollars.

yeah...if it comes down to rebuilding it...i'll just trash it and try to do my swap asap. yeah VERY cold....today it was like 20 some odd degrees. and unfortunatly like many other new yorkers, i am without a garage so it'll be sitting out in the cold all night.

If you don't mind driving to San Diego, you can borrow my garage, it was down to 68 last night, but my garage stayed about 75 at night.
