I have a 90 accord lx with a 2000 H22A4. Ok the other day I took my car to the track. As soon as I hit 7700rpm I started to shift to 2nd. Anyway my friends told me that when i went to shift that the car backfired. The next time I had my friend drive the car and it did the same thing. What could be causing this? Also when i go to start my car I turn the key and it is turning but it takes like 2 and 1/2 sec. to actually start. Should I have someone check the timing?
