Default 3.0 VTEC 4cyl

Anyone ever used a 3.0 SOHC Acura CL bottom and with nice high compression pistons and big cam..etc? Do you think it would make good power. No boring necessary.

That is a single cam accord motor. Why would you want to do anything with that when you could do a H22?? If you must know the HAsport kit will allow you to bolt up that motor in a civic/teg. But why?

Ha! Ha! My wife has always hated driving my car. Then I took her to the IDRC race at Palmdale a couple of weeks ago, and now she wants to race! Seriously though, the engine I have had blown head gaskets. I haven't sent it to the machine shop for inspection, so I don't even know if it's usable. When I get tired of building B18's , I was thinking about taking an MDX 3.5L shortblock I have and mating it with the cylinder heads off of the Type-S, and maybe have some custom high compression pistons made. Get a six speed transmission from a CL Type-S and then put the whole mess in a tube frame.
