Default coilovers and struts. what should I chose?

I have a 93 dx hatch with about 250,xxx miles on suspension I have about 240 hp under hood but I need a nice comfortable suspension but don't know what to buy.
I already had ground control (knock offs) and tokico blues but the suspension was way to stiff and bumpy let me know what you recomend

What engine do you have, a FI'd C5? 240 hp, not bad, show me a dyno.

Anyway, coilovers are for show cars, or for people who do alignments and love to change the height of their cars.

I would recommend H&R cup-kit. It is a stage 4, perfect design, race drop - 2.25-2.5, and exact spec. billen struts. Then you don't have to worry about alignments everytime your change height. But you'd know that since you own a 240 hp honda and understand you get %100 traction by perfect camber to optimize full horsepower.

Plus coilovers (most) weight much more. You could get an adjustable strut if you change setting?

it wouldn;t take a boosted C5 to get 240...he's probably talking flywheel ponies. Chill a bit, us Washingtonians are supposed to be tree hugging nice people... me

i think you should get some springs instead. all coilovers i've seen have higher spring rates than springs. i recommend h and r sports with tokico illuminas. nice smooth ride.

I have Eibach Sportlines on KYB's- not quite stock ride, but really pretty damn close. I have a 70mile round trip commute, so I can understand your appreciation for ride quality that isn't too harsh...

I know, I was joking around. I am a nice person, just spectical! - It just sounds funny that he makes his being statement that he has a 240 ho car, and totaly unsure of suspension. Don't get me wrong, I love to give any good info to ALL, even domestic haters. Anyway, h&r you pretty much can't go wrong.

For the 240whp I have no proof yet but I will next week I'm having import builders in fullerton bullet proof my b16 head(stage 2 cams, sprockets, dual springs, titanium retainers, stailess steel valves and the head is getting ported by portflow.I also have an 8lb flywheel and an aluminum race cranck pulley,I have aem cold air intake str tb and jg victor x intake manifol, and 4-1 dc headers.and to top my 240whp mark I'm running a 75 shot nos kit. and the only reason I don't know much about suspension is because when I started working on my car it already had a bumpy ride and everything that I've done so far to it has not helped at all(ground control coilover copies, tokico blues, urathane trailing arm bushings, and energy supension bushings front and back) so as you can tell I'm desperate for a soft comfortable ride. one more thing if I go with springs wich brand would give me about an inch space between my 17"wheel and fender

get stiffer sway bars, and custom spring rate springs

300 f and 300-400 r is a good balance

All the suspension stuff you mentioned, makes the ride stiffer. The bushings, coilovers, etc. I assume you want some kind of drop, so the stock springs won't do for you, but what about changing the bushings back? If you do want something hieght adjustable, I reccomend APEXi WS's. I have them on my car and they are stiffer, but not at all ubearable.
