Quick Q: What motor is a PR3-3 head from?
As topic says. I know PR3-4 is ITR head, I am just gathering facts.
Also, if anybody knows the other PR3 heads, if they can post up the data that would be great.
Thanks.

PR3-X
the X does NOT have any meaning what soever.
Your best bet is to look at the date stamp and that will provide some clue as to
what year the vehicle was made.
Where did you get that strange idea?

Hmm. I always thought the number after PR3 signifies which head it is (IE: B16/B17/ITR...). Maybe my assumptions are wrong. If not, then how can you tell if a PR3 head is from a B16/B17 or ITR? The date stamps can tell me when they were made, but does not give any info on what head the motor is coming from. Anybody else have any thoughts?
the number signifies the casting #, not what the head is for.
you want to know if its an itr head or not, take out the intake valves and look
at the bowls.
