Cool, I need one, however I try not to ever speed, unless at track...

If you have one I would recommend removing your front licence plate, put somewhere on dash. Cops use licence plates to get a speed reading, unless your car is a brite color like mine - white; which reflects really well. Unfortunatly.

Just in case they feel you have a scrambler just explain that they couldn't have gotten you, explain the front licence plate thing, come up with a good excuse to tell why you don't have one on front. I hate damn cops, but they serve a purpose, give them respect to their face, just not behind their back.

Resident of California, Minnesota, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Virginia, Utah, Washington or Washington D.C, this unit is not intended for use in your state.

I'm in Washington and I'd still get one. They look just like any other radar detector, which are legal in my state. That price sounds pretty good too. I got a Bel 850 STi when it first came out. Car Toys wanted $230, I got mine for $200. Still works great, but only detects.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but can't the police tell if they're being jammed or not? I always thought that if you could adjust the jammer signal to send back whatever the speed limit was, they'd be less likely to know that you were jamming them.

I use to have the K40 which was basically the same thing. It had the same guarantee that it would p[ay for your tickets. But you have to get the cop to writeon the ticket that he used Laser,X,K,or KA to get the speed and also. It does pay for your ticket but doesnt cover your insurance going up.

From what I've read those radar jammers do not "hide" you or even decrease the distance which you can be targeted. THEY INCREASE IT.

seems only the K40 which is an active jammer worked to a small extent, but it did not hide you completely.
