I was wondering what it looked like behind the dash. You could loose another 30 lbs, by getting one of those jr dragster seats. Even more if you remove the cluster and door panels, but thats probably all thats left. Is the tar still there under where the passenger seat was? What have you added to the car, if anything?

I've heard of that happening before. People park their race car on the street to get it out of the garage to work on something else. Next thing they know there is a tow truck showing up at their house, trying to pick up their 'abondoned car'
Wow....too bad its an f22. Albeit probably faster than an h22 with that weight reduction I think anything more than a rear seat and spare reduction is extreme.
LOL
no bitches in the back seat, no groceries in the trunk, no heat, a/c, or listening tunes(other than the open header) for the passengers. but man, is it fun to drive!
no its not my daily or my street car, its a car with a purpose.
yes its the f22 with h22 tranny.

i had it down to the valley a couple times this year. i only made 7 total passes this season @ the valley. first pass out it went 9.2@76 by the 7th pass of the season it ran 8.9@78. this was several months ago and it has since lost more weight.
i still need to get on the dyno so can play with my base and cam timing just to squeeze every ounce of power from it.

there's a good 100 lbs or so that can still be removed...if you are goin down a 1/4 mile, you don't need the strut tower bars, might as well remove the other headlight as well since you already did so with the other for the intake...cover it with that same stuff that you were covering the rest of the holes with and remove the headlight wiring and all...the rubber seals around the trunk and all that weather strip stuff can go, look for spare wiring inside and try and eliminate all you can because that stuff can add up after so much wire is laid down...trim on the rear bumper should be removed, light weight wheels, racing seat...with all that you should see a good deal more weight removed...what are the specs on the motor?
no chrome...its polished aluminum and absolutely hate the wheels but they were cheap and light(75 bucks a piece and 13lbs a piece). i will probably just paint them black down the road.

sweet but is that chrome or just the glare? chrome has to weight a ton
