Is it Worth it?
Do you guys really think its worth changing the look of the US Type R to the JDM version. I mean I really do love those headlamps as oppose to those goggle eyes. But I was looking at OptAuto.com and its expensive buyin the new front bumper, hood, fenders and head lamps to make it look JDM. Would you guys Spend that money on modding the body like that?
LOTS of guys do it. Worth it? Depends on what you like. Ill save my money for mods that are function, like driving schools. When i want to drive an accord, ill ask my mom for her keys.
NO - you go no faster, and you've spent $3-4K. The car is not ugly in stock form, and the "original" JDM front was just our "ugly" USDM front anyway.
The cars I really respect that have the JDM fronts are the cars that have everything else already done...ie. "Mike M" or sgT or "TurboITR"...those cars are fast already and they had nowhere else to spend their money
Otherwise JDM front is retarded...

id consider it if i had an accident that trashed my front end, other than that, i wouldnt pay for it out of my pocket.

Anything involving "aesthetics" is difficult to put a price on. Some might put it as their primary priority over other items.
Am I going to do it? Sure. After I ...
1.) Put a roll bar in.
2.) Upgrade the interior bits (seating arrangements and removing that damned Kenworth sized wheel).
3.) Upgrade the suspension as soon as I figure out which is the best for *me*.
After all that is said and done, the front end goes on.

who says it's not functional?? The weight savings is around 25 lbs.!
On a side note the jdm front end is not as strong as the usdm in a front end crash. the only reason i got mine, was because some jackass on the road had to pay for it after he wiped me out.

I would if:
A) I had an integra
B) I was in an accident where I "hurt my neck"
C) Did I mention my neck was "hurt" really bad in the accident
