I was thinking about puying a a moonroof on my hatch and i was wondering if i bought the whole 92-95 Si assembly how much do u guys think it would cost me to get it installed, and if you knew of any places that could get the work done ? If u know of any places in the Ny area please let me know. Thanx

 

I konw this probably isn't really helping you, but just give some dealers a call and they can give you an estimate on how much it might cost. Some people don't like the moonroof because it adds more weight, but I have one and love it-no regrets

 

did u have one put in or was it already on the car, I had one before to and thats why i want another one

how much weight does it add, i have one and ive been thinking about taking it out, roof weight would be the worst kind. also what are my options if i do take it out?, like plexiglas or does somebody sell fill peices for the hole?

 

I think it would be best for u to get a whole new roof

I thought that if you added an aftermarket moonroof/sunroof you would run into leaking problems. Don't have one myself so it's all hearsay. Make sure to check that out too! Me personally... love the moonroofs!

 

I have a sunroof on my 96 sedan that didn't come from Honda,bought the car this way and it hasn't leaked yet. I wouldn't give it up for weight, I can find other places to take weight out if neccessary.It's great if your car didn't come with AC.
