LS or CrVTEC "solid" oil line
Here are a couple of pictures of a "fixed" or "solid" oil line we (Collective racing) used on a LSVTEC project recently. It is made out of aluminum tubing and is carfully bent into place. Bending is very tricky as to not "crimp" each radius. Much thanks goes out to "Rising Sun" for passing the trick of making "smooth bends" on to me. The pictures are kind of dark so I apologize for that. This definately takes a lot more time to do than the "standard" flexible line, but it is a little cheaper and IMO looks cleaner.
In this picture you see that the main oil passage (on the block to the left of the oil filter) was tapped and fitted with a pipe fitting that accepts standard compression fittings.

This picture shows how the Piping was meticulously routed to clear the intake manifold (in this case a JRSC) and any other items it could make contact with to get to the head.

hello, be care of vibration and cracking of the line, solid lines are prone to cracking from intense heat/cold and vibration over a period of time.
just make sure oyu have a oil pressure guage and keep an eye on the floor where you park.

Oh **** my bad... I didn't even see that you tapped the block to run your external line... That looks clean... That's the way i prefer to run the feed line too but normally i just T them when building motors... I just glanced at the pic the first time... Nice work
