Just as the topic says. Are they any good?? Please let me know if you have had good or bad experience with them.
Thanks,
Thanks,
talk to neo1z, he went w/ a skunk2 shifter, and loves it immensely, ( but im sure he'll tell you to get the s2 **** as well..good weight ) if you have the funds, go for it. peece
I have one and they're really great shifter. I got that w/ bushing and it greatly reduce free play while in gear and make the shifter so much more precised and much shorter throw. If you have the $$, get it.

actually i already had a mugen shift **** so i just bought the shifter. the boot hanged down quite low so i had to ghetto rig it to hold up...but it feels great. one of the best mods i have done to my car, which i can enjoy everytime i drive.
the skunk2 is far superior to the b&m....it is awesome. it doesnt sit as low, its throws are acutally shorter, it isnt just a shorter shifter.
please go for it.
please go for it.
yea my B&M compared to my cousins skunk2 is like night and mid afternoon. the throws on the skunk2 are much smoother. and shifting from 2nd-3rd and 4th-5th is much easier. get a skunk2
or you can wait and buy my B&M when i replace it with a skunk2
EDIT: also get the double bend one, it places the *** much closer to you so you dont have to lean in to shift like i have to do with my b&m

thoguht short shifters ruin synchros..
I agree. There was a thread on this a while back, somone showed the diagrams and a video displaying how it lifts the arm, causing it to meet at an angle, thus not a true clean shift.
If it was better this way Honda would have done it themselves, also it would at least be on the ITR, Thats just my opinion, its like putting a turbo on a car and not upgrading the brakes.

By buddy Gmedalion at http://www.PFmodify.com can hook them up. The shift **** is nice...heavy. Go with the Skunk2 shifter, the C's is overpriced.
i have a b&m and i like it, never tried a skunk 2 but i'll vouche for ANYTHING made by skunks. maybe i'll get one too!
The reason why short shifters are bad for your synchros is becuase your left foot is not keeping up with your right hand. YOu have to train yourself to punch the pedal faster to match the new speed at which your hand can select gears.
