Default has anyone ever relocated ac controls in a 6gen civic

i would like to put mine where the factory cd player went behind the cup holders. has anyone ever tried this

That's going to depend if you have a 99-00 or earlier civic. The 99-00's climate control is actuated by servos, so you should just be able to reroute and/or extend all of the harnesses and it will work. The 96-98's have at least one cable that I know of that may bind or need to be shortened....it's possible, but may be a total PITA

i've seen the 96-98 civic controls moved to the cupholders, and it looks really nice, then they put gauges where the controls normally go.

the only thing that has a cable is the heat controler. really i know it can be done i just want to know if there is any easy way to mount it.

any tips or tricks
