Default Anybody make a 1 piece front end themselves?

Like the topic suggests...Im considering making one myself, but Im sketchy on some things? Im assuming you just use the car itself as the mold, but how do you get it off without breaking it? I guess thats my only real question. Just smear a bunch of vaseline on the car before spreading the fiberglass on the car? Any help would be appreciated...

In oreder to stop the glass sticking tot he panels of the car you'll need a fibreglass release agent. If you use Vaseline, don't plan on reusing the panels without repainting them. The elements of the curing process will eat the paint underneath. If you go to a boat shop, or industrial supply shop, they should be able to get you the release agent. Another secret that I have heard it to use mold makers wax, and wax the hell out of whatever yor using a a mold. The guy that told me about that said to use about 4-6 coats of wax, and make sure to wax it evenly. Also, when doing a front end, it gets triacky around the wheel arches, as you don't want to have to flex the molded piece too much when it's curing, but getting it off the fenders and wheel arches isn't a walk in the park either. You might also want to find something to seal the seams of the fenders with, that won't get eaten by the fibreglass products. I hope this makes sesne, I just woke up, and am still not thinking 100% straight.

Should I use fiberglass cloth? I doubt they make pieces in the size that i need, so how would i go about combining several layers without having a lumpy look?
I would buy one, but I want to mimic the front end that Im using now...
