I'm lookin at 4t ludes...mostly the VTEC (with the h22a1)...i'm gonna rebuild internals...then turbo it with a 60-1...anyone have any comments or any1 with a 60-1 have problems with it? If i'm goin turbo so soon, should i get the H23 Prelude Si? Money is a problem for me right now, so an Si would be easier for me to buy... sorry for so many questions

As long as you rebuild it, the engine will be able to handle that turbo very well. Even an H23A rebuilt running that turbo will be very very nice.

 

60-1 is quite large, IMO... unless you're lookin to push 20+ psi and 500+ horsepower.

T3/T04B .60A/R, .82A/R turbine, stage 2 worked very well in my setup to produce just over 300whp. plus, i had 10psi of boost on tap before 3500rpm, and full 14psi by 4200rpm.

anything more, and traction became a severe problem... and anything larger would have put my power range too high in the rpm band for my liking.

 

I'm also looking at buying a MaxRev turbo kit which you can get with a T3/T04E, stage 3, 60-trim turbo...i heard that this is a good sized turbo, too... its capable of 550hp...but hows the lag?
