Default Too cold for AVS Intermediates?

Highs have been in the 40's here recently. Noticed today that the traction control light is coming on more than it should be, even under normal driving. Tires are AVS Intermediates in 215/45/17, on the Pig.

I must start off gently, and ease into boost in 1st and 2nd. Anything else = wheelspin Tires have about 8k miles on them, and plenty of tread.

Getting too cold for these tires? Gonna be cold all this week, including highs in the 30's. Time for the all seasons to go back on?

(ITR-related content - lots of folks have used AVS-i's on R's)

Those are what Bobby and I were on at ... the Gap!

I used to think there were pretty decent all-around tires, but have had to second-guess that recently.

Thanks, Ed. I'll see how they act on the 20-degree drive to work tomorrow morning. If they're iffy, on go the craptastic Michelin all-seasons

Are the AVS Intermediates labeled with AV1-50i on the sidewall?

Because I just mounted A donated set of those with 45% life left the other day and am planning to use them to store on, and just move the car around.

Mine say AV1-45i, so I assume you have 50-series Intermediates.

Leo - Yep, I must have too much power

OK so count me in here, I've got a set on Steelies and was gonna toss them on tomorrow or the next just to store it for the winter...

Oh, and I live in the NE... It's 30 degrees here now, so I guess I won't even take 'em on the highway to see if I balanced them well.

Thanks, and yes 205/50/15's
