Default Alpine 7894 + what amp/speakers/sub?

I currently have a 7894 in my car. This x-mas I would like to complete my setup. I just want something small. I'd like to stick with alpine components. Does anyone have suggestions as to what amp/sub/speakers/tweeters I should look into? I'd like something that has a little bump in the bass, about a 10" sub.

Thanks.

how much do you want to spend? what kind of car? do you plan on running the components off separate amps or off the deck? you need to give more information

Uhm, not more than 600 for the rest of the setup I suppose. Itll be going into an 00 Integra. I'd want the amp to handle the components and sub.

Actually for components the Type-X flagship is their highest line.

DO you like your mrv540 amp? I was thinking of going with the mrv300 for my components which are the same as yours back and front but now I'm wondering about goin with the same amp as you got...how much did you pay for it?

right now i have the MRV-F340 amp hooked up to my stock front speakers and type R rear speakers and i have no complaints whatsoever. in the future i am going to be hooking it up to the Type-X 3-way flagship speakers bi-amped.

i wasnt really much of a sub fan before i bought it, and initially i thought it was great. however, now i feel like i need more bass. if i could, i think i would give the mrd500 mono amp a try...i think the type r's are strong enough to take a pounding or two.

oh yeah, MAKE SURE you hook up your HU directly to the battery, these HUs are known for drawing gooobs of power. when i first installed it, i didnt do a direct connection and i blew a fuse in the fuse box in the engine bay, i forget which one.

blueaccord, i dont know who that question was for, but here are the prices i got my stuff for:

7894: $280
type r: $120
mrd300: $170

sure the alpine type-r can handle the mrd500 w/ no problem.. as for hooking it up directly to the battery its really not nessesary most the time but recommended, most people wont or dont do it cause its extra work and they dont like fudgin w/ stuff like that.. we install these all the time at work and have never had a problem w/ it.. infact mine is hooked up do the factory wiring harness and have NEVER had a problem
