I cant figure out how to get the plastic piece that the shift boot is screwed to off. I got the back of it closest to the ebrake unclipped but i cant figure out how to get the front of it by the cupholders to come loose. How do I get it out.
ps: what is that parts site for acuras where it shows the breakdown of how the parts are on the car?

If you want to remove the #10 part completely, you'll have to unscrew the two other ones close to the cupholders.
If you're changing shiftboots, it can be done without removing it completely but it's a PITA to put it on, make it stay on while installing..etc.
You need something like this to access the two "hidden" screws.

Just take out the center console and you can unscrew the whole piece from the bottom. Much easier than trying to do it from the top.
