Default my new brake setup

i got my new rotors in my car. that is basically a 11/11.75" 4 piston brake kit from fastbrake. i got the 11" one. the 11" kit is using itr rotor redrill 4 X 100. the kit is not bad at all, however, the pad is not fully used. i contacted brian couple time and he wasn't able to find another rotor that could use up all the pad except the 11.75" 2 piece rotor(which will cost me 350). i almost got the 2 piece rotor at the time, but i tested fit my friend's 11.75" rotor from wilwood and the rotor will touch the caliper with the bracket that i have. i didnt get that from him because of that fitment issue(the inner pad also got an issue on the 11.75" rotor too). until now, i finally found something that works(all pad area is on the rotor) and much cheaper than the 2 piece rotor.

u can see the rotor is painted black on the hub and also the edge of the rotor.

this is the pad that used with the itr rotor. as u can see, there is 10% of the pad is not used(5mm over 45mm)

I'm wondering too.

I have the 11" kit from Fastbrakes, and I don't like that some of my pad is not used..it's just annoying for some reason. lol.

will it work with the regular 11" upgrade kit, or do you need the Wilwood upgrade for it?

I'm using the 11" upgrade with Integra calipers.

did you bead blast your wilwood calipers? What up with them being so dull? Is that the old school wilwood caliper? I have wilwoods on my eg and the calipers look WAY different, and honestly if you can afford it, go with the 2 piece rotor. Because the rotor "hat" is made out of aluminum instead of iron it makes the whole rotor MUCH lighter. My 12.2" rotor was less than 1 lb. heavier than my 9.44" rotor!

i believe u have the kit from wilwood which use a dynalite caliper. mine is using superlite caliper which is a bigger one. the pad is bigger and thicker. wilwood one is good(cheap too) but it can't clear almost any 15" rim(w/o spacer)

Owen,

I`m using the 11" Wilwood kit and it rocks. Super happy with it. I actually enjoying changing the pads, it`s so freakin easy. Takes about 15 seconds per side
