Was at work today, slow as hell. I decided to give my car another alignment, rotate and balance.

Well, I just found out that tape weights on the inner side of the rim is not applicable due to clearance problems. I think the heat sinks make it a hair higher. There appears to be less than 4mm clearance from the wheel to the caliper. Having tape weights didnt help the situation. I should have thought before hand but never struck my mind until I go out for a test drive.

Test drive came around, the car kept on making a "SHHHHH" noise every revolution of the wheel? I didnt know until the weight shot off cause the caliper eventually pryed off the weights.

So for you NSX caliper owners out there, FYI next time.

Sidenote: I saw a 2002 Bright neon Green Lamborghini Murcielago today.

Yes, they bolt on with LITTLE mods. Look for a topic that I created in ARCHIVES, Dropspeed has done this mod too.

Sorry for being ignant, but what is the purpose of those wheel weights? And what do they look like? I think I know what you're talking about, but I'm not sure...

 

I just noticed that UKDM rims with the sticker weights are very very very close to touching the caliper too.

 

Dont forget Dropspeed.
