can i use 100watt H-3's w/ my projectors?
since the lighting on projectors suck goose nuts i was thinking of using the 100 watt version of the H-3's, is it possible or can the relay or wiring get burned out?
normal H-3's are 55 watt bulbs, what say you?

Yes you can, BUT... they make alot of heat, so your projector lense will crack. It won't be noticeable unless you get right up to it, and it won't affect the beam pattern at all, but just so you know... it WILL crack. Both mine cracked, but other than being able to see it when I stick my face in front of the lamp, nothing changed.
Heat. Again, 100W H3s put out alot of heat in these projector housings. They'll blow eventually. Mine lasted about a week on average. A way around this and the cracking is to cool the lamp somehow. I'm working on some ideas and will post when I've perfected it.

Too many watts and it will short the wires, save up for a HID kit, or PIAA 55 watts are pretty damn nice. Catz is getting some go reviews as well.
yup, check out my post....I tried using 80W Nokya bulbs and it blew my fuse and burnt the wire....
