Default Injectors & engine management

This winter I am planning on new injectors or re-conditioning the old ones on my F22B1. It is currently running the OEM injectors with 110 k miles on them. I want to send the old ones out for re-conditioning (RC maybe) but am wondering if I might just as well get new injectors with higher flow ratings.

I have added IHE and am planning on a throttle body and porting the intake manifold to match the TB opening. As all this mildly improves air flow, I want to improve fuel flow as well. I have a B & M pressure regulator but I am not crazy about it as there is no visual feedback on fuel line pressure.

Any ideas on a good pressure regulator with a gauge?

The main question is, if I go to 290 or 310 cc injectors, does that require fuel managment beyond what the OBD II ECU can do? Or should I just get a new set of OEM spec injectors? I really think that with the airflow mods I need to start supplying more fuel and that the OEM injectors cannot support it.

Your stock injectors will flow more than enough fuel if you remain normally aspirated. Most of the tuning on NA F and H series is leaning out the stock maps to gain horsepower.

The richness of these maps cannot be overcome with IHE and TB alone.

I would focus more on tunability to maximize your mods.

Get a vafc and dyno tune it. This will add fuel if/where you need it regardless off injector condition.

....to answer your question...290 and 310cc injectors will work with your ecu. You can even go as high as 550 with a vafc to lean them out at idle.

just get a gauge seperate. I heard the B&M one sucks, just get the test one at Pep Boys to use when you are making adjustments, it works fine.

I have the B&M gauge and I have no complaints about it. Why does it suck?

I didn't say that it sucked, I said I heard that it sucked. A friend of mine got one and said that the threads stripped out really easy(the brass was too soft or something), it could have been a defect.

For what its worth my 95 runs like a rich big with just my intake. So I would think stock is fine unless your planing to up compresion or anything like that.

thanks

Honda Prelude Injectors flow 320-340cc
B&M Command flow fet to 44psi
and a VAFC piggy back should work well..

Running simular set up and pushing +240hp and 13.8s

it works well...
