Both the 92-95 ex and si had the same engine the d16z6 so you will be able to get the head from either not just the si. Good luck...

Isnt the CX 8 Valves? Not enough valve reliefs in your pistons, plus it makes no sense to do it without changning your intake manifold also to get more flow... its worthless to do this to your motor... just buy a complete z6 for the same price as it would be to source the few parts you are trying to find.

Believe it or not, CX pistons DO have four valve reliefs. However, they're non VTEC pistons, and the reliefs are too small, so you'd have to mill them out a bit to clear the valves, and then you'd have to put some silly putty in the reliefs, bolt the thing together, slowly turn it by hand through a few revolutions, then take it apart and measure how thick the putty is. It should be at least 0.02mm thick.

just buy a complete z6
I agree completely. Aside from the cost and sourcing the parts, I've never heard of a minime running as good as the whole motor. Just get a Z6 longblock; I've seen 'em around $300...
