At night when i turn my headlights on my climate control button lights, for like defrost and vent selection, are supposed to turn on. They dont, but sometimes while im driving they turn on..bumps maybe? i also noticed tongiht i turned off my high beams and the lights lit up and stayed on until i touched them. Anyone have any ideas how i can fix this very annoying problem?? Thanks

I have the same problem. I haven't really cared to figure out whats wrong though.
I'm guestimating that's it's a loose connection or half-burnt bulbs.

 

dude that same things happens to me. all i do is hit my dash and they turn back on or off depends on the state they are in. i took my whole dash apart to fix my climate controller and has been shorting out ever since.
i supose "hitting it" isnt the answer your were looking for

 

Replace the bulbs. Had the same problem, and so did a friend of mine with a 2nd gen. Replace the bulbs and they'll be cool again. Untill then you can just hit the dash when you want them on.
