5th gen suspension swap into 4th gen?
Hi everybody, I just crashed my 4th gen prelude on siderock and the whole passenger side suspension gone. I'm having hard time to buy used parts for this gen of prelude, so I wonder if it's possiable to swap the whole suspension to 5th gen. Anybody did it before? is it direct bolt? Thanks.
Yes.
Springs and shocks are direct swaps for sure...you have to drop the rings on the shock fromt he 4g to get the holders for the brake lines, but AFAIK all the suspension is the same.
I have 2001 OEM shocks on my 4th gen Eibachs...

Thx satan_srv, so I can use the entired suspension (5 lug) even the rotors and brake clippers on my 4th gen, is that right? What about the mounting points for front and rear swaybars? do i have to drill anything to make it fits? Thanks again.
