J's Racing sells CF body panels (I know, I know $$$$$) and lexan windows.

Remove the vents, climate control, HID kit, headlights and the alarm.

 

take the labels off of everything.

after you read them, they are extra weight.

and scrub down the car...don't want too much "drag inducing dirt" on the underbody (I'm actually serious about this one...you can save pounds)

 

Scrape all the undercoating off the car.

The goal is to have my competition license before April. And perhaps a 'lil MWHC.

 

This is a road race car, not a drag car.

 

I think I must retain the vents and climate control. HID's could go as I said but I'm going to keep the alarm on for now...

Are you weighing it before/after? I'm curious to know what you tip the scales @ after the cage is installed (assuming you're gonna do that since you're getting a competition license).

 

Hrm I was 2350 with much more junk in there.

 

2000# is a good even number to set your sights on.

Cure = Buy A Civic and swap everything over, then strip it out, a lot lighter
