Hey guys, I am planning on getting a nw Greddy exhaust and I was wonderin which one would be the deepest sounding??? I want one that isn't loud or high pitched. I want deep.....as close to a V8 sound as possible Any ideas??
Also, does anyone have links to sound clips??

Add a turbo and tanabe racing medallion, sounds better than a V8. Just don't take the turbo off because the exhaust is very loud NA.

Man, why do people take this comment so literally?? I LOVE the way Mustang and Cameros sound. And NO, I don't want a Mustang or Camero. I just want an exhaust that is deep sounding. I prefer them to sound that way. I don't like the farting sound.
I LOVE the way my friends 94 325is (the one on the site in my sig). I just want a deep sounding exhaust. Man, am I the only one who wants a deep sounding exhaust??
Anyone else have any ideas?? I have herd the Apex N1 but that still is too farty for me. I want deeper and less loud. Any ideas??

I can vouch for the Tanabe Racing Medallion. Also I would recommend the Thermal classic and DC Sports exhaust.
Greddy SP is the best sounding exhaust hands down, that Greddy makes. If anyone tells you differently, they havent heard the SP.
The EVO and PE have a "ricier" sound. They are still fairly deep, but its not as "clean" a deep sound and has more rasp and fart to it.

the thermal is a great choice. Even on a b16 it's decently deep. if you're not looking for loud, then definantly don't go with the Blitz! lol. On the WRX it wrang in at idle with about 130 db, and about 137 at cruising! That's as loud as most sub setups!
I have the SP as well, with DC and CarSound 2.5" cat. It's really deep when accelerating from 2.5k to 3.5k on my lude. (also when slowing down) Not too loud to attract the LAW........ unless your WOT.
Another thing that I like about the exhaust is that it is relatively quite when running at crusing speed.

They live near the intersection of 580 and 680.
Also, do the Si's share the same exhaust as the VTEC Ludes?? I have a 92 Si and I was wondering if exhausts made for 93-96 Ludes are the same.
Thanks for all the responses. You guy really helped me out.
That's awesome. That's EXACTLY what I am looking for. Maybe when I come over there to visit my parents we can meet up if I don't have my new exhaust yet so i can hear what it sounds like.

I had the SP for my previous car(Accord EX) and it sounded deep, but it was pretty loud. If I were going to my friends house he would hear me when i was about 1-2 blocks away! But I plan on purchasing the SP or maybe the N1 after I get my turbo kit installed, and hopefully they won't be as loud(especially the N1). I love the N1 look though.
sp is loud
i have the EVO and love it. not too loud but it makes a statement. and not raspy at all, nice deep and smooth. i havent heard the SP so i cant make a comparison but the Tanabe is loud as hell. i say go with the EVO. IMO.
Someone tole me that the Greddy exhausts rust kinda fast. is this true?? They recommanded the Thermal over the Greddy SP.
Man, choosing an exhaust is VERY hard.

how does the greddy EVO compare to the SP??? how does it sound???
EVO and PE ricier?? i don't think so . . .
the PE i had sounded a hell lot better than my friend's SP that's for sure. i personally think SP sounds too bright, the PE has a deeper sound. don't know the EVO though.
but anyway, this is really subjective so that's just how i feel.
