Default polished valve cover

polished my valve cover on sunday...it turned out pretty good i think

for some reason it looks like you need to clean up your bay...real bad. I think its that the nice polished parts stick out. That valve cover is sick, nice job.

uhh, that looks matte finished. you cant just use a light polish to "polish" something. did you use sandpaper?

yeah, comparing to the radiator and the strut bar, your valve cover is not polished. try using a polishing wheel after you gave the cover a good sanding, that will help.

for some reason it looks like you need to clean up your bay...real bad.
i cleaned the bay not too long ago, but where i live right now there is nothing but dirt. it's nearly impossible to keep your car clean for more than about 10 minutes. anyway, thanks for the compliments.

all it took was a can of paint remover, about 7 different grits of sandpaper, steel wool, and polish.
