It will probably be quieter and maybe deeper sound but probably no difference performance wise.

dont switch it, you waste a lot of wasted money, dont do it

there isnt a reason, no big performance gains and you can use that crazy 385-450 that you ll pay for some real mods and help yourself out

not loud = Apex'i World Sport (WS) Catback Exhaust.

Sound is close to stock, looks like stock, yet yields some proven gains.

that is correct, you can get my piping and order any brand muffler.. if you want that "big" name brand, you can order the universal muffler from apexi, greddy, skunk2, hks. etc. this also will allow you to get somethign like the catback n1 which apexi doesnt make for the accord. plus it will run cheaper than those others out there.

I'm running the Hyper-Medallion on my '01 Accord, and I thought it's a lot louder than my friends '01 Greddy setup. Quietest one I've heard so far is the APex WS.

Sorry sorry...i wish i knew more about the WS for your car. i was basing it on my the V6. I've heard from various other sites though that the WS cat-back is very very quiet. Don't know about the setup you're trying to go with. I have a Tanabe on my car right now, and it's hella-loud. Not quite no-cat loud, but pretty intrusive if you're hwy cruising.

Are you using the tanabe piping and resonator, or custom piping?

Here my theory about it..

1)whole cat back system
<cat>I==== (1st muffler) ==== (can/2nd muffler){tip}

2)custom pipe with Universal muffler(can)
<cat>================= (can/first muffler){tip}

I doubted that you can get WS can at all..
as far as i know WS have two muffler thing...
why dont you go ahead and ask kteller8?

I have N-1 wannabe cans on my accord..
and that's what the muffler shop dude is telling me..

(stock)
(CAT) ======= (ULEV MUFFLER) ===== (muffler) {tip}
the ulev muffler actually took out couple of hp
the dude told me that if i only replace the muffler is gonna be
"ok" loud...
in other head removing both free up couple more hp(1-2 )
and sounds louder...
i took out both and it turn out pretty good..
deep tone
but i got really loud when i floor it and vtec kick in...
my set up-> cai, header, downpipe,hiflowcat(uninstalled), exhaust..

KTeller8 what's the closest thing you can get to a WS.
Iam7head where did you get your exhaust done? You're located pretty close to right?
