2nd Annual Honda-Tech Christmas Charity
2nd Annual Honda-Tech Christmas Charity
For the 2nd year in a row we will be doing a charity function. The purpose of this is to gather together a large pool of money and do something for someone who is not as fortunate as ourselves. Last year we collected nearly $1000 and bought tons of toys for Shriners Childrens Hospital in Los Angeles. Whatever you can give, whether it is $1 or $100 will be very helpful
Where do I contribute to?
I will be leaving it up to a trusted Honda-Tech member to collect the contributions. Last year Yoshi did it and it worked out fine so maybe this year he can do it as well. I will be paying for all of the fees associated with the online sites as well as making my own contribution.
How do I know this isn't a fund going to buying Jeff a turbo?
The purpose is to help a charity and I intend to do so. I will have a trusted Honda-Tech member collect all of the money and keep it with them so you know I'm not running off with it
We will have a thread with everyones contribution. I will also have members go with me to purchase or hand over the money and will post recepits and all of that from the charity that we assist.
What charity gets the money?
We will vote for the charity as we did last year. Nominations will be accepted and whatever is the most popular we will do. We prefer not to give to Red Cross and others like that but to more personal charities where we will see a direct result.
Timeframe and donations?
I will stop collecting donations December 10th in order to give us plenty of time to get the money transferred to whatever charity we decide. Again, whatever you can donate would be very helpful. Some online sites are:
http://www.bidpay.com/
http://www.paypal.com/
http://www.c2it.com/
Last year was a success and we hope to make this years the same. If you have any questions or concerns please email me or post

count me in.
Even though I'm in a tough period in my life with very poor luck, etc... I will still stop and help to give to those who need all help they can get. Count me in for at least $100.00

Yah whatever you can give is up to you, whether its $1 or $5 it still adds up to something. I figure I can miss out on a corona a week for a month and put that towards the fund
Trending Topics
I'll IM Yoshi and see if he wants to collect it or some other trusted Honda-Tech member...
just make sure to title it as "Xmas Charity" or something to that effect so that I know what it's for.
Also, please put your full name and also your HT name in the notes area. That way I can keep a list, which will be posted and updated daily.
